Drop-In Reading Buddies

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
10:30am-12:30pm (30 minute time slots)

Summer Reading Program
Log your reading. You will earn one raffle ticket for every five books that you read. The more you read, the more raffle tickets you will earn.
Attend library programs to get additional raffle tickets.

Reading Buddies for Grades K-5
Six Fridays at 3pm-5pm: July 14, 21, 28 & August 4, 11, 18
30-minute individual slots with a high school volunteer
Child can read to the volunteer or the volunteer can read to your child. (You will be assigned a time slot: 3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm)

Read & Draw for Grades K-2
Seven Mondays at 4pm: July 10, 17, 24, 31 & August 7, 14, 21
Read your favorite authors and learn their art styles.

Reader’s Theater for Grades 3 & 4
July session: Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 11 to 27 at 11am
The show: Friday, July 28 at 5pm
August session: Tuesdays and Thursdays from August 8 to 24 at 11am
The show: Friday, 8/25 at 5pm
Children will learn the basics of putting on a theater production, acting, building sets and making props.

Mystery Book Club for Grades 4 & 5
Five Tuesdays at 5pm: July 18, 25 & August 1, 8, 15
Read a mystery book of your choice and write a book review.
