ESL : English As A Second Language Classes

FREE weekly English as a Second Language (ESL) classes aim to facilitate a comfortable setting for English learners to improve their English language skills by actively participating in group conversations. The ESL Group is open to all adults. Pre-registration is NOT required.

Movies at Noon
Shown every first Thursday of the month at NMPL during the months of January to June, and every Thursday during the months of July and August. The films are free and open to the general adult audience.
Join us on Thursday July 11, 2019 for “Green Book” a 2018 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Peter Farrelly. Set in 1962, the film is inspired by the true story of a tour of the Deep South by African American classical and jazz pianist Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) and Italian American bouncer Frank “Tony Lip” Vallelonga (Viggo Mortensen) who served as Shirley’s driver and bodyguard.

Did you know that you can now borrow a hotspot from the library? Mobile Hotspots serve as portable routers that allow you to take the internet wherever you go. Hotspots can be borrowed for 2 weeks and MUST BE returned to the New Milford Public Library.
