Pysanky Egg Decorating Workshop for Adults
Just in time for Easter, explore the art, symbolism and joy in creating pysanky, traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs. Experienced instructor Michele Reutty will be holding a workshop at the New Milford Public Library on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10am. All materials will be provided. No experience is necessary. Need help with your smartphone, laptop or tablet? Basic instruction will be available on these electronic devices Wednesdays at 5pm beginning March 6. Register stop by the library or call the library at 201-262-1221. Please bring your own device that you need help with.

ESL Conversation Program
The New Milford Public Library is launching a FREE weekly English as a Second Language (ESL) Conversation Groups program. Run by trained volunteers, the program aims to facilitate a comfortable setting for the English learners to improve their English language skills by actively participating in group conversations. It will meet Monday mornings from 10:30-11:30. Our Winter 2019 session will begin Monday, March 4. The ESL Group is open to all adults. Pre-registration is NOT required.

Winter session: Monday, March 4th to Monday, April 1, 2019

AARP Tax Help
The New Milford Public Library will offer free tax preparation to Seniors and low to moderate income taxpayers. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning February 5th between 10am and 3pm. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 201-262-1221 ext. 209.

Movies at Noon
Shown every first Thursday of the month at NMPL during the months of January to June, and every Thursday during the months of July and August. The films are free and open to the general adult audience.
